Lesley returns to the Bead Shop, to teach another of her brilliant beaded flowers. Lesley has a wealth of knowledge when it come to beaded florals and plants of all kinds. In this workshop you’ll learn how to make a cactus plant with a floral embellishment. You’ll get to grips with how to thread beads and create the petals using French beading technique. You’ll also learn how to assemble your cactus.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll the beads and wire will be provided, the pots will not. They work well in small plant pots or candle holders, you’ll discuss options in the class of how to display your cactus in the workshop, but if you have a pot you’d like to use you’re welcome to bring it along. The finished measurements of the beaded cactus are approximately 5 cm wide and 8cm high (including the flower) to give you an idea of scale - perfect it you don't have the space for actual growing plants. The cactus with the orange flower has been put in a yogurt poy woth a crocheted cover.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis workshop is suitable for beginners and those wanting to try a new techniques.
