Small Bead Spinner

Description

This Small Bead Spinner is a great tool for when you have lots of beads to string, making it a quick and easy job. Perfect for use with seed beads especially when making for multi-stranded necklaces or threading beads on to wire for French beaded flowers. It can also be handy for crocheting or knitting where the beads are pre-threaded. This tool can save you loads of time. This small spinner take up less space and less beads are required to half fill and make it work effectively.

The overall size of the spinner is 9cm wide and 10.5cm high. The bowl of the bead spinner measures 7cm wide and approximately 3cm deep. To use the bead spinner, fill the bowl approximately half full with beads. Start to rotate the bowl by twisting the central metal pole. Push a threaded curved needle into the bowl at a 45 degree angle into the beads against the flow of the spinning bowl. The beads should then start climbing the needle, very quickly! Beads and needles are not included, but we do also sell these;

You may find our more flexible curved needle useful to use with our Bead Spinner as it has a large eye. The curve in the end of the needle helps it fit in the bowl and prevents the beads sliding back down the needle.

This short video on Hana showing Alice how to use our larger the spinner may be useful too, as the technique is the same.

Where can I find the shop?

Once you’re in Nottingham it’s quite easy to find us as we’re bright purple! Here are our top tips on getting into Nottingham City Centre or give us a call if we can help.

Things to note when visiting Nottingham city Centre. Our shop is situated in a clear zone between 10am and 4,30pm. Only buses and trams are allowed on this street between these times. There is disability on street parking just down and around the corner from us (Angel Row) or behind the Royal Centre tram stop (Wollaton Street).

We suggest using the Tram if you’re visiting Nottingham City Centre. This can be cheaper than Nottingham’s parking charges and if you are not used to Nottingham then you will also avoid the sometimes confusing road network in the city centre. There are several Tram park & rides which can make life much easier. They can be found approx. 1 mile from Jct.26 on the M1 or in Clifton if you use Jct.24 coming from the south and travelling on the A453. More info here.

There are also several car parks near us including the Euro car park at the top of our road (it is quite a tight multi storey). Or on street parking the closest of which is Wollaton Street.

Royal Centre Tram Stop: We can be found approx. 100 metres from the Royal Centre Tram Stop. Just follow the tram tracks downhill into the city centre. You will see us on the right hand side opposite the old Debenhams building.

Whilst you’re in Nottingham why not visit some of the Cities other fantastic Independent shops https://www.mailorder-beads.co.uk/news/my-20-favourite-things-to-do-in-nottingham/

How long does it take for me to receive my order?

UK orders usually arrive in the next 1-3 days depending on the postage you select. Overseas orders take 3-20 days depending on location.

Orders placed before 1pm on a week day are sent out the same day. We offer a range of delivery options including guaranteed next day. Occasionally items do get lost in the post we can re-send or refund your order 10 working days after it was sent (20 days for international items) as this is when the Royal Mail class class it as lost and allow us to claim for the loss.

What is your return and exchange policy?

We want you to be happy with your purchase, if it’s not what you wanted you are welcome to return it for a refund or exchange within 30 days but please return items in the same condition you received them.

If you return your entire order within 14 days of receiving it, we will refund the full amount debited from your card. Postage will not be refunded if only part of the order is returned or after 14 days. Please enclose either your original invoice or a copy of it.

If you have changed your mind about colour or size or just want to exchange for something else please enclose your order number and what you would like to swap for.

Unless the item is faulty you are responsible for the postage to return items to us and we’d always recommend getting a proof of postage.
